Items involving account maintenance and corrections may all seem alike. To make things more clear, please review the following pointers:

Special Loans has been receiving a large number of SPLCFM tasks that are not applicable to their team. Some examples include escrow information, borrower name updates, property and mailing addresses, social security number updates, etc.

If there is an error within the first 60 days of boarding that falls in the list of items below, the NEWFIX task must be opened with details regarding the request in the task notes. This is because it was an issue at boarding.

  • Loan Term
  • Maturity Date
  • First Payment Date
  • P&I Discrepancies
  • Interest Rate Discrepancies
  • Buydown Discrepancies
  • Missing borrowers and/or DOT signers
  • Property address corrections

Note: Even within the first 60 days, if there is a request to set up tax or hazard lines, the New Loan Boarding team will not handle this. Instead, an Escrow task would be best suited.

These are the types of items that may require a SPLCFM task be opened (after the first 60 days):

  • Loan Term
  • Maturity Date
  • First Payment Date
  • P&I Discrepancies
  • Interest Rate Discrepancies
  • Buydown Discrepancies

Here are some common situations and the correct tasks to open:

  • Escrow requests: ESCRCH task – if not a more specific Escrow task to open
  • Borrower name corrections: RSNAMC task
  • Property address corrections: RSADDC task
  • Property type corrections: RSPROP task
  • Mailing address corrections: RSCADD task

Social Security Number corrections: YETINU task
