08/12/2020: Update - Dovenmuehle (DMI) Monthly Billing Statements with Incorrect Information

In late July, Fairway delivered an incorrect transfer data file to Dovenmuehle Mortgage (DMI) on an isolated population of approximately 280 customers.  Due to the data issue, customer unpaid principal balances,  payment amounts and escrow balances were incorrect, with the inaccurate amounts being overstated by millions of dollars which is alarming to customers. 

In spite of awareness on the part of DMI, they failed to suppress both the monthly billing statements and the credit bureau reporting of these incorrect balances.  The inaccurate credit bureau reporting has created material customer impact. 

Fairway is working closely with Two Harbors to ensure swift remediation of both issues by DMI.  We are pending verification of corrective actions at this time, (corrected billing statements and credit bureau reporting corrections).  

Full processing of credit bureau reporting may take up to 30 days for all credit reporting agencies to update their records.
