Personably identifying information for approximately 5,900 customers was compromised in August 2020. Fairway has identified these customers and is in the process of sending notification letters during late March and early April 2021.
The letters provided a detailed explanation of what occurred, what information may have been compromised, and what Fairway is doing to assist these impacted customers.
What occurred - Email accounts of four Fairway employees were compromised by an unknown third-party, resulting in unauthorized access to customer information
What information was involved - Some or all of the following customer information may have been accessed: first name, last name, social security number, date of birth, current address, bank account information and credit card account numbers
What Fairway is doing – We are offering a complimentary five-year membership to Experian’s IdentityWorks service. The letter provides the details of this service and how customers can enroll. Customers must contact Experian’s IdentityWorks directly to sign up for this credit monitoring service.
